What We Do

The Dayamani Foundation’s current projects are focussed in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India.  We have established the Dayamani Academy, a residential children’s home for orphaned and severely disadvantaged children from the surrounding community and built the Dayamani Joseph English Medium School to support and educate those children.

The Foundation raises money to support these projects.  We are currently seeking corporate and educational sponsors to partner with our organization to help fund the infrastructure of the school.  The school currently consists of 5 rudimentary classrooms and our ultimate goal is to build a new facility to support a world-class primary school.

We are also currently seeking child sponsors for the 30 children living at the Dayamani Academy.  At only $50/mo, this provides everything necessary to ensure these children have the chance to reverse the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.

We are currently renovating the top floor of a house adjacent to the Academy and the school to re-house the children.  The current living facilities are old and decrepit, with only two rooms for the 30 children.
